About data processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it, what security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.

Website software
WordPress
Our website has been developed using WordPress software via Mooi Online. Personal data that you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. Mooi Online has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support and will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, Mooi Online is required to take appropriate security measures. Mooi Online uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored.

Web hosting
Mooi Online
We purchase web hosting and email services from Mooi Online. Mooi Online processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Mooi Online has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Mooi Online is bound by confidentiality under the agreement.

Email
Mooi Online
We use the services of Mooi Online for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Mooi Online has no access to our mailbox, and we treat all email traffic confidentially.

Purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing
We use your data solely for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we wish to use this data to contact you at a later time for reasons other than your request, we will ask for your explicit consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality based on agreements, oaths, or legal obligations.

Automatically collected data
Data automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (for example your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations
In some cases, Mooi Online may be legally required to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations conducted by government authorities. In such cases, we are compelled to share your data, but we will oppose this within the limits permitted by law.

Retention periods
We retain your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you notify us of this, we will also interpret this as a request to be forgotten. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data for the applicable retention period. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile or documents created as part of your assignment.

Your rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights regarding the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them. To prevent misuse, we generally send copies of your data only to the email address already known to us. If you wish to receive the data at a different email address or by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of processed requests, and in the event of a request to be forgotten, we retain anonymized data. All copies of data are provided in the machine-readable format used within our systems. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect we are using your personal data incorrectly.

Right of access
You always have the right to inspect the data we process that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You may submit a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is approved, we will send a copy of all data to your known email address, including an overview of processors who have access to the data and the categories under which the data is stored.

Right to rectification
You always have the right to have the data we process that relates to you corrected. You may submit a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is approved, we will send confirmation to your known email address that the data has been adjusted.

Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the processing of data relating to you. You may submit a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is approved, we will confirm by email that the data will no longer be processed until the restriction is lifted.

Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data we process relating to you transferred to another party. You may submit a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is approved, we will send copies of all data we have processed about you to your known email address. In such a case, we will likely no longer be able to continue providing services, as secure linking of databases can no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Mooi Online. If you object, we will immediately cease processing your data pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will provide you with copies of the data we process and permanently stop the processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe this is the case, please contact our privacy contact person.

If third-party software solutions use cookies, this is stated in this privacy policy.

Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend our privacy policy at any time. However, the most recent version will always be available on this page. If the new privacy policy affects the way we process data already collected about you, we will notify you by email.
